Dr. Dorj found her passion for dentistry at a very young age as she was born with a rare enamel disorder that made her teeth extremely sensitive and prone to breakage. This required frequent visits to the dental office, where she realized her life-long mission is to help others improve their oral health and achieve their best smile. From her personal experience, Dr. Dorj understands the patient perspective and treats her patients with compassion and empathy. Her favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people and learning about their story and background.
Dr. Dorj grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Rush University, and worked in head and neck cancer clinical research at Northwestern Medical Center. She then pursued her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her german shepherd dog rescues and trying out new recipes.
